Study on International Staffing approaches and Pre departure training

Abstract

Over the last two decades, many companies have entered into Global or International Markets. There is tremendous growth in Multinational companies, foreign assignments to broaden the business. Globalization and Internationalization of business necessitates human resources to shift internationally which gives rise to different personal, cultural, social issues. Human Resources are very important asset for any organization. Success or failure of Company largely depends on the skill set or talent possessed by the people working in the organization. The role of Human resource department is very critical in Internationalization process. This paper reviews the staffing approaches, important components of Pre-departure Training in International Context and the role of HR in resolving various issues related to Internationalization.
