Abstract

Social media is continuously providing various avenues to affect the decision-making pattern of individuals, groups& organizations. The major revolution is happening as social media and internet of things(IOT) are evolving at a very rapid pace. Social media & these technologies can positively & negatively impact the effectiveness of decision-making. For example, Consumers are continuously making choices on the basis of the content they widely consume on social media & modern marketing managers are making full use of that. Also, managers who majorly depend on social networking platform rather than the expert opinion &real facts may make biased choices & decisions. Various theories can help in explaining how social media can shakethe decision-making &what can be its upcoming results.
