A Study on HR Retention and Motivational Practices

Abstract

HRM is the management process of an organization workforce or human resources. It is responsible for the attraction, selection, training, assessment, rewarding of employees while in organization leadership, culture and ensuring compliance desire and are legally authorized to hold a collective bargaining agreement. HR will also serve as the companys primary liaison with the employees representatives (usually a trades union ). In the current global work environment, all global companies are focused on retaining the talent and knowledge held by the work force. All companies are focused on lowering the employee turnover and preserving knowledge. New hiring not only entails a high cost but also increases the risk of the newcomer not being able to replace the person who was working in the position before. HR department also strive to offer benefits that will appeal to workers, thus reducing the risk of losing knowledge. The present study is descriptive in nature. The study uses both primary and secondary data. The primary data were collected from the 50 employees of the Aurobindo Pharma, Hyderabad through random sampling method. The secondary data were collected from various journal articles, websites and company records. The collected primary data were calculated using percentage analysis.
From the survey the researcher identified that the organization is having good working work environment. So that the employees are satisfied with their job. The relationship of the superior towards employees is good, so that the employees are giving their best in everything they feel that skill and capacities are put use on their job.
