Smart Helmet and Bike Management System

Abstract

A smart helmet is a protective armour used to provide safety for the rider. Bikes are widely used than different forms of vehicles because it is simple and low cost. In India people use bikes than other vehicles due to avoid heavy traffic on roads bikes are simple to drive and save time. The main concern is to provide safety while riding the bike. Alcohol consumption, overtaking of vehicles leads to accidents and most of them are head injuries so we introduced smart helmet.Smart helmet uses an IR sensor to check whether the rider is wearing a helmet or not and we use Zigbee to transmit and receive messages. MQ3 alcohol sensor present in the helmet ensure that the driver is drunk or not and some more features added in this system is bike theft and security, location of the bike, message sent to mobile when the accident occurs.
