  • C. Samuel et al.

Abstract

The American literary circumstances have experienced a new directionality with the arrival of a host of women writers. These women writers manipulate the ancient myths and negotiate a new mode of relationship, life style and even codes.  They have capitalized on the components of history before they create new feminist ideologies such as postfeminism. This article incorporates some of the core concepts of postfeminism and illustrations as found in the select works of Alice Borchardt and other postfeminist theorists.
