Abstract

Abstract:- Innovative pedagogy as a science and practice has a responsibility to prepare citizens of the knowledge society who are able to be creative, face changes, manage and analyze information, and work with knowledge. Worldwide colleges and teachers are in various states of reform to adopt their instructional practices and educational systems to be more effective. The world is changing rapidly. Too many students are disengaged and achieve well below their potential. At the same time, global expectations for education systems are growing even more ambitious. So it is very important, colleges and systems must be ready to move beyond the comfort zone of the traditional and familiar. Innovation is fundamental, therefore, and it must reach right into the pedagogies practiced in colleges around the world. Pedagogical expertise is at the core of teacher professionalism, and so promotion of such expertise is fundamental. Innovative pedagogy is the study of being an innovative educator or the processes of innovative education / teaching. Knowledge is presented to (learners) in a linear, didactic manner that differs dramatically from students previous experience outside the college, which is rigid and uninteresting. Papert (1993 p. webpage) makes a compelling statement by saying "The goal is to teach in such a way as to produce the most learning for the least teaching. Great gains in problem solving, creative and critical thinking and learning may occur when education becomes learner centered, active, authentic, collaborative and personal, but gain usually comes with a cost. The purpose of this paper is to expound upon the strategies and approaches which can be implemented by teachers when planning for more constructivist opportunities, regardless of the existing barriers. A paradigm shift in the role of the teacher as well as the use of technology is required in order to implement constructivist strategies to improve English Communication.
