A Study on Investor’s Attitude towards Mutual Funds

Abstract

The research  is carried with the aim to measure the Investors Attitude Towards Mutual Funds. A Mutual Fund is a trust that pools the savings of a number of investors who share a common financial goal.The main objectives are to study and analyse the impact of various demographic factors on investors attitude towards mutual fund and to study about the factors (on the basis of rank) responsible for the selection of mutual funds as an investment option. The sample size consists of 100 respondents. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires. Statistical Tools used are Mean, Frequency analysis and Chi-Square test. It was concluded that there is association between demographic factors and preference towards investments in mutual funds.
