Abstract

Efforts have always been made to define and understand literature. Often critics, scholars and philosophers assume the responsibility of defining and understanding literature or any discipline. But, disciplines in different forms evolve by defining themselves in different ways. Literature is constantly defined by life, poetry and prose. What matters every writer and reader is that how to differentiate life and literature. The threshold that a writer draws between life and literature also becomes the defining point of literature.
