ECOCRITICISM – EN ROUTE TO DYSTOPIA
Abstract
Right From the scriptures of different faiths natures role and its importance to humans have been reiterated for generations through many texts. Many prominent authors of all walks of life have never left nature and its elements excluded in their works. It will be metaphysical if all works are made without the presence of nature. Many masterpieces would have been ceased at some place and the authors would have found themselves difficult carrying their works. Writers have been aware of the fact that natures role is imminent and writers like Hardy emphasized its presence in the beginning of his novels for e.g. Egdon Heath from Return of the Native.Â
