A STUDY OF THE INFLUENCES AND REASONS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Abstract

Domestic violence seems to be a misdemeanor that is one of the primary reasons of the rise in the county's crime rate. Domestic violence becomes abusive activity in an interpersonal relationship whereby the person attempts to manipulate and influence another within a relationship or romantic relationship or even in a marriage that causes extreme, mental violence or physical violence to others in that partnership. In this article, the author attempts to understand the root reason of domestic violence, including factors like person, partnership, culture, societal, cultural and social factors.Both causes are essential for everyday violence and have consequences on both the mental violence and physical wellbeing of an individual on a regular basis. The paper further highlights the variations in types of domestic violence, like physical, mental violence, mental violence, physical, and linguistic including economic violence. The researcher further tries to illustrate the distinction between safe and unhealthful marriages. The paper further shines light on different measures to reduce domestic violence.
