Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi popularly known as the "Father of the Nation was one of the greatest nationalist leaders of modern India.  He was born on 2ndOctober 1869 at Porbander in Kathiawar of Gujarat State. He took as a challenge to see the people of India live with their own way. He thought freedom is the only way to have free nation. He had not only brought the Human Rights to our country but also he planned to fight against the violence (terrorism) by implementing the peaceful methods. Thus Gandhiji was called as "Mahatma" because of his extraordinary achievement as the leader of the Indian freedom Movement for Independence. He was not primarily a theorist but a reformer and activist.

There are many philosophical ideas and dogmas and doctrines which are available in the world. They are Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Sikhism, Capitalism, Marxism and Spiritualism. Of all the principles; Gandhiism is the best and foremost. It is relevant to the problems faced by a man even today.  Gandhiji was not a systematic thinker or an academic philosopher. He was a man of action who thought that he was a man of God. He strongly believed in the supremacy and the mutuality of two highest human values which means "Moksha" and "Dharma".
