Abstract

Employee engagement is an agency setting designed to ascertain if the employees are committed to their organizations goals, objectives and values, which includes achieving organisational and individual goals as well, ensuring enhancement of well-being. Employee engagement helps in identifying the level of loyalty and job satisfaction in a comprehensive term, where the employees performances are driven positively. This pilot study to better decision-making. Any organisation that has an effective employee engagement strategy and a highly engaged workforce can retain its high performers and attract new talent as well. While, employee Retention is a process where the employees are persuaded to continue and stay with the organization for the maximum period of time. Employee retention refers to the ability of an organization to keep hold of its employees. To improve the quality of the organisation employees retention has become one of the strategies. Retention strategies states that it is advisable for the management to distinguish between the slow performers and high performers so that efforts could be made to satisfy both the level of employees to bring out quality of management and maintain a good level of retention. This will in turn lead to rise in the morale of the employees.
