Abstract

This research paper describe the impact of social marketing on tobacco consumption that how social marketing influence consumer to quit tobacco. Also try to overcome the government endeavor towards tobacco consumption. Social marketing is made of two simple words that are social and marketing. The world social is a very broad term which covers the every aspect of social life, society, environment etc. and same as the marketing is also a very broad terms which cover all the functions of marketing and marketing mix that is sales, after sales service, product, price, place, promotion etc. the social marketing has a positive and silence impact on the society in long which will be shown over a period of time then people will recognize the real work of social marketing for the society. During ?Mogul period consumption of tobacco was considered as an entertainment in India, but now it is one of the major health burdens for civilized society and contributor to many serious diseases.
