DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF PORTABLE STORAGE BALOON TYPE COMPACT BIO-GAS DIGESTER

Abstract

The main objective of the project is to design and fabricate a compact sized biogas digester. With the over exploitation of petroleum resources the necessary development for the effective usage of alternative fuels is needed. As the sources for production of Liquefied Petroleum Gas is gradually declining the price has increased rapidly during the past few months. The existing models of biogas digesters already in use are large in size and are mainly opted for places like hotels where large amount of food is wasted.

After analysing the problems new design of compact size biogas digester with portable gas storage bag is done. The fuel includes the raw vegetable wastes and other biodegradable food waste that are produced in houses commonly. The developed compact size digester is cheap and simple to use. The biogas obtained can be used as an effective alternative for Liquefied Petroleum Gas.
