Scholarship Facility – ‘A Study on Perception and Awareness Level of Students Regarding Scholarship Facility with Special Reference to Channarayapatna TQ’

Abstract

Student scholarship is life line for a student. At present we can say it is a right of student. The study is basically aimed at understanding the problems faced by students while applying for the scholarship facility. For the purpose of study students who are falling in the age group of 17-23 has been considered. The research reveals some issues like lack of internet connection, restriction to apply for scholarship, miss use of scholarship facility. The study reveals that student have a perception that lack of internet connection in the rural area as the issue of students is concerned. The researcher feels that there is need to start student helpline facility to make the system proper. The researcher feels that findings of the study has got a kind of direction in discussing the real condition of students and the suggestion which has given in the study may fetch some value if it is brought into practice.
