A STUDY ON END USER SATISFACTION OF HUMAN RESOURCE INFORMATION SYSTEMS WITH REFERENCE TO TVS IYENGAR & SON’S PVT LTD

Abstract

Human resource information is a system that help an organization acquire, store, manipulate, analyses, retrieve, and distribute information about an organization's human resources Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is a process that utilizes the information technology for the effective management of human resource functions and applications. This study is made to know whether the implement of the HRIS is satisfied to the users and to know how well the HRIS software is used in the organization and reduce the drawbacks. This study explored values, knowledge of employees, and demographic variables (i.e., gender, age, level of educational, experience) as possible factors that could impact of employees. The structured questionnaire is used to collect primary data from respondents. The respondents are selected by simple random sampling method. Chi Square, ANOVA & Correlation were used to analyze the data. Some percentage of the employees did not satisfaction with the software so it has to be change by giving training, orientation then they will realize the value of HRIS. The main conclusion of this paper is apart from few dissatisfaction of users more over end users of Human resources information system are satisfaction with the software using in the company, the organization has to conduct survey once in a year to identify the draw backs of HRIS to improve the end user satisfaction of Human resources information system in the organization.
