A STUDY ON JOB SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYEES WITH REFERENCE TO TITANIUM EQUIPMENT AND ANODE MANUFACTURING COMPANY LTD

Abstract

Job Satisfaction is the overall attitude of a well-being with regard to its job and environment. The feeling about the job is directly affected by the factors like salary, kind of work performed, supervision, working conditions and opportunity for advancement etc., The aim of the study is to study the job satisfaction of employees in Titanium Equipment and Anode Manufacturing Company Limited, to find out the level of satisfaction among Employees. To identify the factors that influence job satisfaction and the involvement of the organization and measures taken by them to satisfy their employees. The study was conducted by means of questionnaire method with Non-Probability Convenience Sampling with 105 respondents as sample, from the sample population of 150 employees. The results reveals that there is no relationship with regards to the educational qualification and income of the respondents and it was also found that majority of the respondents are satisfied with regards to salary provided, encouragement from the superiors and conflict management etc., The suggestions have been made to the organization regarding salary revisions, training etc., to reduce absenteeism and employee attrition as retention and job satisfaction is major aim for all the organizations to fulfil individual as well as organizational needs.
