Cyber Insecurity: Requisition for Standards in Challenge, Contradiction, and Innovation for Cyber Security

Abstract

The contemporary worlds demands are reasonably competitive and reliant on Information and Communication Technology. The economic, political, defense and health sector is directly or indirectly dependent upon ICT as without it proper functioning will be thwarted. No doubt Information and Communication Technology has significant benefits but it can also be used to pose strongest damage to nations IT area, defense sector, government systems and machinery, intellectual properties, and banking system. So, the issue of cyber insecurity for all the nations as well as for international community is pertinent. The present paper is an attempt to discuss in detail the issue of cyber insecurity and efforts through which this hybrid threat can be prevented. The article will also analyze the outcomes of cyber related uncertainty and insecurity, and the need of cyber standards and confrontations in building these norms.
