Abstract

- Empowerment is a procedure that helps people manage their
lives, society, or communities. This is also a procedure that allows people to
realize their individuality or power in all life features. Empowerment occurs
in various areas, including social, economic, political, personal, family, and
cultural factors. Allow women to focus on education and equality between
workplaces, which are the fundamental elements of sustainable progress.
This article looks at the literature on different studies of women's
empowerment conducted throughout the Self-Help Group (SHG), which will
be helpful in tracking researchers researching this field. Although women in
the last decade of India's plan have not achieved success, especially the
rural self-help groups (SHG) in rural areas have in many areas of the
country achieved recognized success in integrating women in the decisionmaking process. Of course, the self-help group has become a useful
organization that aims to provide microcredit to women and encourage them
to engage in entrepreneurial activities. Self-help groups have made
