Abstract

Behavior finance has emerged as a new paradigm in the field of finance. Recent trends of Investment Behavior indicate that Behavioural biases of investor pertaining their irrational community. Here researcher emphasis to understand the various biases which affected investors to not to invest in Mutual fund. The cross sectional study has been attempted, 426 respondents in Ahmadabad are not investing in Mutual funds. For the data analysis reliability, crosstab, one way anova has been applied on data. Evidence suggested that overconfidence bias has major impact on decision making of investors and investors solely rely on self-generating returns than taking expert advice.
