Abstract

The type of network which is self-organizing and in which the sensor nodes are organized in such a manner that it can leave or join the network as per their requirement then it is known as Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). These nodes in wireless sensor network starts communicating with one another with a motive to send vital information in the entire network. Also, because of the decentralized nature, there are myriad malicious nodes which may enter in a network. A malicious node adapts lot of attacks, for example, flooding, black hole attack and warm hole attack to stop the overall network function. This paper proposes a methodology that not only detects the ddos attack, but also mitigate the issue of load balancing.
