Abstract

This paper addressed Venture Capital (VC), which is the financial intermediaries specializing in offering funding and managing resources to entrepreneurs in creative companies, incorporating their specific combinations of technical abilities and financial skills. VC is an important contributor to economic production as it incorporates vast & untapped resources as well as helps growth of worldwide knowledge-based industries. The technology-based firms generally targeting VC investors will often overcome market restrictions, allowing large exposure, even to under-served populations, to critical goods and services. The paper deals with VC constitution, eligibility requirements, the activities of other venture capital funds laws and the way they have developed in India.
