Gender Issue in Education

Abstract

This topic related to the importance of a gender approach in educational curricula. One of the most alarming facts of India is that the gender inequality is at its heights.  Gender equality basically mean equality for both men or women in every aspect of life specially in education. However there has been discrimination among men as well as women. In society have not been treated at par with education and this gender inequity has been since age. This means the education system need to introduce debates in different areas of education, similar on different areas of education, from teacher training to subject knowledge definition on gender to change traditional gender role. Education system shall be include gender equality as a topic or as on interdisciplinary subject in school education. We also use gender equality as a tool to improve equality in education and contribute to make more balanced society in term of gender. Gender based inequalities in education around the world according to UNESCO, are mainly determined by Poverty , geographical isolation, minority status, disability, early marriage and pregnancy and gender base violence.
