On the Transformation Formulas for Appell Hypergeometric Function F2

Abstract

Appell functions viz. F₁, F₂, F₃ and F₄ are a formal extension of hypergeometric function of two variables. In this paper some transformation formulas for Appell hypergeometric function F₂into Kampd Frit function have been obtained by employing Kummers second formula and its contiguous results.
