Transformation Formulas for Appell Series F2 with Contiguous Extensions

Abstract

Appell has introduced four double hypergeometric series, F₁, F₂, F₃ and F₄. In this paper we have aimed to obtain a transformation formula for Appell series F₂ into Horn Function H₄ and extended it for contiguous function relations of F₂ with the help of Kummers second formula and its contiguous results.
