Abstract

               In todays competitive world, training plays a vital role in the present scenario and contributes a major part to the organization. Training effectiveness in any industry is an important phase of the development of knowledge of the workforce. KSA (knowledge, skills, and abilities) of the workforce in any organization depends on the importance given to training in their concerned units.  Organizations, therefore, need to know whether the training process, the importance of training, and investment made on training is producing the desired results. Training programs invariably inherit expectations in terms of demonstrated benefit to the organization in terms of performance and productivity of the employees. The data is analyzed by Univariate ANOVA in spss. The purpose of this study is, therefore, to examine the effectiveness of training programs being practiced in RINL Visakha Steel Plant.
