Vulnerabilities, Threats, Attacks in Cloud Computing

Abstract

Cloud computing provides various services like SaaS, IaaS & PaaS to its end-user by hiding the physical location and configuration of the cloud computing systems. This cloud computing system architecture involves complex system with multi-layer or levels which makes the system more vulnerable to various security issues, threats or attacks, there is no holistic solution to mitigate or solve or prevent those security issues threats or attacks.

The paper describes extensive literature survey on cloud security & discretely categorizes vulnerabilities. security threats and , attacks that are involved in each level of cloud computing architecture. But with evolving time the systems will be improvised or changed to suite the end users needs, which shall lead to more security threat, which calls for more preventive measures.
