Abstract

With the Rapid growth of Technology, the process of creating and exchanging value has changed drastically. Marketing is a dynamic process. Its dimensions are changing from time to time but it has witnessed some dramatic change in last decade, thanks to eruption of technology and internet.  Digital marketing is a by-product of technological development. Digital marketing consists of different marketing efforts to convey the message to target audience using digital platforms. It uses internet, telecommunication and digital technologies to reach out to its prospect consumers. There is a significant difference in traditional and digital marketing in terms of cost, efficiency, reach, ease of content replacement and updating etc. India's online space is pretty much dominated by US players. With the annual growth rate of 25%-30%, digital marketing is going to have huge potential for Indian business firms in times to come.
