Techniques have been devised to detect the credit card frauds at early stage. Techniques to predict the frauds in advance also highlighted through this literature. Early detection of such frauds could prevent the worst affect of these frauds. This paper discusses techniques such as k-means clustering, , Similarity Model , neural network, grouping method etc. real time or offline dataset requires to demonstrate the implication of techniques used to detect the credit card frauds. Performance metrics discussed through this literature in the form of comparison table shoes qualitative analysis. Merits, demerits and future enhancement in each of the techniques shown through comparison table can be used to detect best possible approach for improvement.
