Digital Impact on Society Special Reference to Education

Abstract

The technology affects our lives by various aspects, including education and other fields. In education today students are becoming modernized by using different technologies in school, colleges like computers, laptop and tabs for their school and college work and extensive research work. On other side teachers also used modern technology for enhance lessons and make learning easier and enjoyed. Technology shows positive impact on education in developing countries. These countries having GDP 0.81 and 1.387 increased respectively. In India 915 million wireless technology subscriber occurred, it is second largest in the world telecom market and about internet using third largest in the world, about 259 millions broadband users occurred. In rural area of India most economical opportunity in telecom industry because of 65% Indian population lives in rural areas. In the future telecom industry showing digital impact in service centre for their effectiveness service.

Societies sectors like health care, banking, insurance and education are unable reach out to the citizen due to limitations of middle man ignorance, lack of funds, illiteracy information and investment. It leads unbalanced growth in rural and urban areas also marked difference in social and economic status of people. Today ICT help people to access services and resources, in which introduction of mobile devices highly useful as complementary channel to all public service which have enormous impact on quality of these users and social modernization.

In the India 'Digital India' program is dream project of government of India transition India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy. This program launched on 01st July 2015 by prime minister of India Mr. NarendraModiji with more ambitious issues and focus on affordability for inclusive development.
