Study of Blast Furnace Stave Cooler Based on Heat Transfer Analysis
Abstract
In metallurgical industries furnace cooling is a very important criteria. The life of furnace can be improved by using a suitable cooling method. The mathematical model and ANSYS software is adopted for analysis of heat transfer and temperature of stave cooler at different temperature range varies from 575k to 1675k. In stave cooling of blast furnace nitrogen and nano fluid (Al2O3) used as a fluid in place of water.
