A Study of Women Political Participation: Special Reference to Amravati District in the State of Maharashtra

Abstract

In the present study studied that the women political participation with respect to various political issue and the family freedoms for the participation for the politics for the general and backward category women in the district in Amravati Maharashtra state. Its study adopts the normative survey method and stratified random sampling technique selected the both category women in the area of this study. Data collection for this study through self constructed and standardized questionnaire for the participation of women in political issues. These studies conclude that category wise women participation in the various political issues is not significantly difference its the more similarity of the participation the politics.
