Agile development is a simple and light weighted framework which budding functional and technical landscape, focus on rapid delivery of software and project values. Traditional software process focus on distinct and predefined sequential manner.In that once requirement are fixed then wont be any changes  addition in future .this is where agile methodology have an edge over traditional, agile can handle more adaptive projects.agile is a iterative process and waterfall is a linear sequential ,both of models can able to handle large projects but in one scenario of waterfall is not accurate and satisfactory whers as agile are not completed on time because much involvement of customer. so many companies are afraid of adopting agile over traditional modeles so for that combination of adaptive and traditional modeles is good. hybrid modeles are good for the transition of agile over traditional.Effective model to execute complex projects with rapidly changing requirements.
