“One Nation, One Constitution, One Flag” hails in Indian after the country scraps articles 370 and 35A

Abstract

The provisions of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir by giving it autonomy over internal administration of State, States own Flag and constitution, was read down through presidential order and thereafter a Bill of Reorganization to convert Jammu and Kashmir from a state of the Indian Union into two separate Union Territories (UTs) also sailed through with more than 2/3rd majority in both the houses of Parliament. The biggest decision of the Narendra Modi government has announcement a bill in the Rajya Sabha to bifurcate the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union territories Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Union Territories (UT) in Ladakh will have no legislature like Chandigarh while the other UT of Jammu and Kashmir will have a legislature like Delhi and Puducherry.
