Abstract

Todays world is a hotspot where problems keep rising every day and man is constantly busy in finding probable solutions. Little do we think why and how do they emerge. Unlike a  doctor we seldom think about the root cause. If the cause of disease could be identified and eliminated, the problem would never come to the surface. Similarly if we examine the crisis of our times, which is behind all our ills and maladies, it is the crisis of science without wisdom, which is restricted to acquiring knowledge and more knowledge. The irrationality of knowledge-inquiry further damages our ability to find solutions. The crux of our crisis is that we are living in man-made non-dynamic systems where we teach social science but not social philosophy, technology but not humanities, facility and rights but not responsibility and reason, exploit natural resources without any thought of conserving them. The revolution we need would change every branch and aspect of academic inquiry. A basic intellectual task of academic inquiry would be to articulate our problems of living (personal, social, global and environmental) and propose and critically assess possible solutions, actions, policies, political programmes and philosophies of life Researcher thinks that if we apply Quranic teaching in teaching learning process we will be able inculcate wisdom in our new generation. Researcher thinks that there is no book, at all times, like the Holy Quran, which has been the basis of intellectual and spiritual radiation for human civilization throughout history. Among its achievements are the building of civilization and the development of various disciplines of knowledge and science. It is not strange that Napoleon, Emperor of France, was astonished at discovering that Islam conquered, through mercy and guidance, half of the Old World in half a century. The Quran is the last holy book that Allah sent down to people. The Quran was sent down to the Prophet Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) through Gabriel (Jibril) and then it reached today through being written down and reported. The Quran is a material and spiritual guide for individuals and the community, all classes of people living in any place or time and for the whole life of man. Everybody, from the president to the man in the street, finds the things that are about them in the Quran. They take the knowledge and lessons that are necessary for peace and tranquility both in the world and the hereafter. It contains all information about what has happened to those communities before you, news of dissensions and tumults that will happen after you and signs of Doomsday. It is the distinguisher between the truth and the falsehood. If anyone seeks guidance elsewhere Allah will lead him astray. It is the strong rope of Allah. It is the reminder with wisdom, and it is the straightest path. It protects souls who obey it from being ruined and misguidance and tongues that recite it from ambiguity.Had he studied the Holy Quran and its meanings, he would not have been astonished, and his wonder would have faded.
