Emotional Finance: Financial Anxiety among Salaried Individuals with Special Reference to Life Insurance

Abstract

The financial anxieties among the salaried people are points out to investment in the life insurance. The review of literature presents the vast growth of insurance sector. The study tries to highlight the peoples investment behaviour to life insurance. The research is conducted by collecting data from salaried individuals.Along with the self generated questions, the 6 item form of Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) developed by Theresa M. Marteau and Hilary Bekker (1992) was used to measure the Financial Anxiety. Along with simple percentages, Chi Square test was also used to make inferences.
