A REVIEW ON TRADITIONAL MEDICINES USED IN TREATMENT OF NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER EPILEPSY

Abstract

  Epilepsy is a neurological condition distinguished by seizures as well as loss of consciousness or both. Epilepsy is a serious disorder and can occur at all ages. In this review article, the traditional system of medicines are used in the treatment of Epilepsy as the allopathic drugs have serious side effects. Temporary lobe epilepsy (TLE) is the most severe form of human epilepsy in which seizures occur in the adjacent cortices. It also results in the loss of hippocampal neurons.
