Utilization of Prosopis juliflora Biochar on Bioremediation of Heavy metals and to improve the Soil Conditions
Abstract
Microbes are isolated from the rhizosphere area of Prosopis juliflora. In this study, the normal flora presents in the rhizosphere area help to reduce the heavy metals present in the prawn farm. The biochar produced from the tree help to promote the plant growth by stimulating the root and shoot length of the plant. In this present study, one bacterial strain was isolated from the rhizosphere sample. This strain was identified from the biochemical characterization. Naturally the identified organism having the ability of antimicrobial activity. AAS study concludes that the treatment reduces the heavy metals.
