Abstract

Balapur was the main military parish in Varad province of the Mughals. As such, many historical artifacts have been created in these areas for the convenience of government. In 1595, the first Mughal emperor Akbar sent the prince Shah Murad and Khan KhanKhan Rahim to the south to conquer the Nizam of Ahmednagar for the expansion of the Mughal kingdom. Rahim conquered the Nizamshahi and according to the agreement between Rahim and Ahmadnagar the Nizamshah was given to the Mughals. Thus, from 1595 onwards the Mughals began to invade the province of Varad. After the victory of Rahim NizamShahi, Jhalana and Shah Murad settled at Shahpur, 18 km from Balapur. Murad built Shahpur city. In this city, Mughal period still exists as a witness to the history and the past glory of Mughal rulers. Shah Murat died in 1598 while living in Shahpur. Badapur emerged as the most important military station in Varad province. Due to this, during the Mughal period between the cities of Balpur and Shahapur, Mughal period buildings, buildings of many valleys and bars of drinking water have been constructed in many places.
