A Study of the Current Status of Speaking Skill of the Student-Teachers in Junior Colleges of Education

Abstract

In this study studied that the current status of speaking skill of sthe students teachers in junior colleges of education in the district in Buldhana. The normative survey research method was use for this study. Self constructed speaking skill scale is develop by us. Total 40 students teacher in D.T.Edcollege have been select for this study sample. In this study conclude that the mean score of the component Vocabulary of English speaking skills is comparatively high and effective than the other components of English speaking skills such as coherence, grammar, fluency and pronunciation teaching through traditional methods and the mean score of the component fluency of English speaking skills is low as compared to other components of English speaking skill with respect D.T.Ed students.
