Equality in Law in Context of Abrogation of Article 370 & 35A of Jammu & Kashmir
Abstract
One of the biggest controversial and highly sensitive issue of our country is the Article 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution which gives special recognition and powers to the State of Jammu & Kashmir. The abrogation of it was nearly unimaginable since no one wanted to put their hands in hot bowl. But on 05th of August, 2019, one of the greatest revolutions happened which were little expected from the Modi Government, but couldnt be expected due to its sensitivity and the issue being running on the high-tension velocity across the country for the last 72 years. Abrogation of the said articles not just opened the gates of the valley for the entire nation, but also provided the equality of the citizens in and out of the residency of the State in various manners. None of the less, the bold move by the Centre has unleashed the path of success, prosperity, freedom, law and justice to the State of J&K.
