Enhancement in Second Harmonic Generated by ultra-fast Lasers in Plasma by wiggler magnetic field

Abstract

Nonlinear optical effects which arise due to lasers interaction with plasma includes higher harmonic
generation. High density beams of ultra fast lasers provides oscillations to charge carriers which in turn
interacts with magnetic field giving rise to various effects. This paper studies influence of applied wiggler
magnetic field on amplitude of second harmonic generated for semiconductor plasma.
