Current Insights of Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) in Cervical Cancer: A Review
Abstract
Cervical cancer (CC) is a component of genetic heritability among high-risk human papilloma virus
(HPV) that remaininstigated by continuous process with persistent infections reflect increased risk of
penetrance. The genetic susceptibility of CC studies are limited, however genome wide association
studies (GWAS) provides a genetic variation for several complex malignancies/ diseases. GWAS in
CC are associated with several SNPs that identify the functional and biological aspects of genome
among the individuals.
