Hand Muscle Weakness in Elderly: Ambiguity of COPD; A Pilot Study
Abstract
Handgrip strength (HGS) is a simple yet effective way of measuring functional capabilities in persons
suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). It has been proved to be associated
with elderly patients suffering from COPD and has been linked to mortality and health-related quality
of life in them.
