Effect of Blackburn Exercises in Scapular Dyskinesia: a case report

Abstract

This case study aims to evaluate the effect of Blackburn exercises in scapular dyskinesis. The effect of
exercises was analyzed in volleyball player presented with shoulder and scapular pain while doing
overhead activities and he was not able to give his level best in the game due to agony. Patient was treated
with electrotherapy modalities for the first few sessions after that Blackburn exercise protocol was used to
treat scapular dyskinesis and within one week of treatment session patient was able to do overhead
activities without pain. All the findings were also negative, which used in pre testing, after the treatment
session.
