Abstract

In todays era the difficulty faced by most of the organization is not just retaining potential employees, but gaining their full engagement in work by observing their insights at each stage of their work life. In a competitive marketplace, employee engagement plays a vital role in the success of the business and in almost all the organization, employee engagement is the initial deciding factor in organizational performance and success. It contributes not only for retaining employees but also for increasing the productivity which ultimately results in satisfaction of customer and goodwill to the company. To achieve competitive advantage, organizations seek for better employee engagement. The purpose of this paper seeks to find out the influence of Gender and Marital Status on employee engagement. Both primary and secondary data were collected to carry out this study. Statistical tools like Z test and Freidman test are used for this study. There is an important distinction among age and gender towards employee engagement.
