Abstract

Globally employee engagement had developed drastically and had earned the attention of HR Professionals.  Employee engagement is one of the main driving force and a biggest advantage for organization and there is a great certainty that employee engagement is connected with business performance. Employee engagement is an important metric which enable the HR managers to link employee with the business performance.  In the modern business environment, the managers demand for higher productivity by increasing efficiency when compared with previous year.  Once it was easy to implement because there were employees who are satisfied with their organization and had work experience and stayed in the company for a longer period of time and contributed to the organization and thereby there was an increase in productivity.  But the situation have been changed because satisfied employees are not enough to meet the demands and lead to high performance in the increasing business environment and competition. For statistical analyses, SPSS-25 version used and Statistical tools like percentage analysis, ANOVA, Correlation, Chi-square and z test applied.  The findings were based on the Research hypothesis, demographic profile and various dimensions of employee engagement.  Suggestions and Conclusion are based on these findings.  This paper is focuses on the importance of designing and promoting employee engagement in the Textile industries.
