A STUDY ON FARMERS’ OPINION TOWARDS MARKETING OF CASHEWNUT IN CUDDALORE DISTRICT

Abstract

            Marketing is the process of creating or reorganizing an organization to be successful in selling a product or service that people not only desire, but are willing to buy. Therefore good marketing must be able to create a proposition or set of benefits for the end consumer. Shopper or customer that delivers value through products or services. In this study focused farmers opinion on marketing of cashew nut in cuddalore District. The target population for data collection was the cashew nut farmers in Cuddalore District. The researcher has adopted stratified Random Sampling techniques for the study with cuddalore district.Totally 270 samples were selected. Out of 270 samples,90 samples were selected from large farmers, 90 samples were selected from medium and 90 from small farmers from Cuddalore District.
