Abstract

The primary aim of this paper is to review the evolution of hospitality management in India.The concept of hospitality is known since ancient times, the meaning of the term hospitality refers to welcome, warmth, kindness and generosity; in the ancient times, people considered hospitality to be very significant for their religious wellbeing. The most important impact of hospitality management is showing humanity in the treatment of the guests. The main purpose of this research paper is to understand the meaning and significance of hospitality management in India and its origin.The paper also suggests that it is important to understand how hospitality management in India.
