STOCK MARKET PERFORMANCE OF SELECT BANKS DURING 2015-2019

Abstract

  Investors generally invest in shares with the objective of earning higher return but higher return can be earned only when you take higher risk. This study focuses on the study of risk return performance in the banking sector for a period of four years by selecting few banks from public and private sector. It is evident from the study that private sector banks performance was better than the public sector banks during the study period. Hence it is expected that with favourable policies by RBI banking sector will bounce back in the near future.
